Summer Wine Lunch with Acquiesce Winery

IMG_7385We had a great time last Sunday with Acquiesce Winery.  It was the perfect day to enjoy the elegant white wines that Sue Tipton is producing in Lodi.  So many people think that Lodi is home to big rich red wines and Sue Tipton turns that notion upside down!  Also notable for the lunch was that lead cook, David Fujimura, created the menu.  It was a goal of his to create a wine paired meal using his favorite cuisine.  He likes to use his Japanese heritage and Acquiesce was the perfect match.  Writer and Sommelier, Randy Caparoso, captured the other notable accomplishment that day so well that I’ll send you to the blog he writes for the Lodi Wine region.  http://www.lodiwine.com/blog/lodi-son-cooks-hawaiian-inspired-lunch-with-acquiesce-wines
